Our Belief
We believe that aspiring toward cultural competence,
that is not only acknowledging, but also appreciating diversity and integrating
the diverse needs of the organization into services rendered, is critical
to successfully providing training, technical assistance and consulting
services.
Our Understanding
HS understands that in today’s market, maintaining the
competitive-edge requires an investment of time and resources to cultivate the
talents of the human capital of the organization, thus building overall
capacity.
Using the language of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective
People, by Franklin Covey, the saw must continually be “sharpened.” An
organization is only as strong as the people who work in it. To retain strong
employees, HS believes it is critical to provide training and support that
promotes professional growth. Additionally, with the Baby Boomer generation near
retirement, it is even more critical that organizations invest in their staff to
avoid facing not only a loss of knowledge and experience, but also a shortage of
people following behind to fill the vacancies. When individuals feel like there
is an investment made on their behalf, loyalty is gained. As the staff members’
competencies grow, the organization’s capability increases, resulting in
increased levels of performance and job retention.
Our Services
Human Solutions has a seasoned, professional staff with
hands-on program knowledge, including extensive staff capacity-building
experience. Our approach is to customize our services based on your individual
needs. Our first step is to complete a basic needs assessment to determine how
we can best serve you. Then, we’ll develop a plan together to address the areas
we’ve identified. By involving you in all phases of the process, we believe this
will increase your ability to sustain the change once our engagement with you
ends. Whether it’s training or consultative services that you require, our
goal is for you to succeed!
